The butterfly bruises on my eye sockets are from where my broken nose pushed up blood under the skin

Only my face was damaged. I was knocked over the handlebars of the road bike, and went headfirst into the tarmac. Slid along tarmac on just my face. No other part of my body damaged. Helmet barely damaged.

Healed almost -- just the tooth still loose, and the scar that will stay, and restricted airflow through broken nose. This photo was taken about 3 weeks after being hit, but it looked as healed as that only a week and a half after -- I kept on forgetting to take the photograph
