Console! Looking towards the eletromechanical synchro dials, the met computer, air conditioning computer (feed it predictions for the night forecast, so it can match the dome temperature) and web browser, and diary archiver. My notes scattered all over the place as I was learning. The "free standing terminal" nearest the camera was wheeled in on the second night of commisioning of the telscope 30 years ago, as they discovered their rather optimised and maxed out main console computer had some shortcomings. This was the first major telescope to be computerised, afterall, and it wasn't known what was going to be needed in a computer control system
